No....that's my friend there (Josh) and the one he is pointing at is the CARABAO, a very important commodity in the Philippines. Farmers in remote areas are completely reliant on this animal. It is the farmers best friend. But wait, my father said that they are already using machines/ tractors, whichever way you want to put it in tailing the land in my beloved remotest remote town of ANDA Pangasinan. Is this the end to this water loving black mammal? I don't think so.
I have this love and hate relationship with the carabao. I remember when I was young I used to take care of one. Carabaos are not sweet or say malambing like dogs. What would I expect, they are not pets. You can ride their back if you are tired of walking but I have never tried because I am afraid of falling.I had seen many people and heard many stories of kids being attacked by a carabao that's why I am scared of this animal. Nevertheless, I still love it and I think we should make a very big statue of the carabao in the Philippines, maybe as big as the statue of liberty.
It is our symbol. What do you think of my proposal?Hmmmm. I wonder where the best location is and I wonder how it would look like.........
Will a bigger version of this be good????????????
I wonder. Who's who?
