Since there is nothing much to write about my sedate life,
just wanna share the news I saw in yahoo the other day.
I can't remember how many times I had praised Charice in
my blog, and I will not get tired of doing so. To my delight,
and I'm sure, to the delight of the nation, she will
perform for no less than OBAMA this time around. whew!!!
On top of that, another Filipina will be present. This sure is
a great pride to us Pinoys.

Besides Charice who is performing at the pre-inaugural ball for Barack Obama in Washington, D.C., presumably on Jan. 18, there’s another Filipino in the event and she’s none other than Cristeta Comerford who has been retained as executive chef of the White House.

That's Cristeta proudly standing at the center.
I have to admit I was unaware that the White House Executive Chef as of 2005
was Filipino. This sure is no easy responsibility.Just when I am about to lose faith in our own cuisine and our ability to improve it and make it evolve into something universal. While this maybe a different matter, the news really gives a glimmer of hope. Thanks you guys.
