still the bastion of Christianity and Democracy........

_____________________________

with Barack Obama being
sworn to office today (in the US)
in front of a record 2 million
crowd and overwhelmingly
expensive budget, the world
couldn't help but observe.

I realized then and again that
indeed AMERICA is the center
of the world............

Today's crowd is a show of force.

I don't necessarily agree 100% to the way the US is playing it's role as the worlds policeman but I sure am glad that it is still on the front line. Just can't imagine a world with say, Russia or China as the superpower.

For me, America is still the bastion of Christianity and democracy, and I am comfortable with that. I still don't like OBAMA, then again, it's still my wish that he could deliver his promise of change. He serves as the hope of many people, I'm still giving myself the time to like him.

Hope he Succeeds and hope he bring CHANGE in the world......

  9. wait!
    birthday mo?!
    pa-cheeseburger ka naman!!!

-well, America hoped for a true leader. He strongly believe that change will/should start with each American citizens, black or white.
There is power in speech and declaration, nasa kanya yun. Kaya isa ako sa napabilib sa mga speeches nya, and hopefully those speech will be put to action. Nadali nya ang "Yes, we can!" slogan eh.

Let's continue to pray for our nation as well, Hindi lang "God bless America" Philippines din.

like him or not, nagawan mo naman sya ng post sa blog mo, wahaha!
