off to anda for christmas.....




I will be up up and away to my hometown and will not be back till Sunday. That means, since I was not able to see AVATAR in IMAX last weekend, I have to wait until 27th or worse Jan. 1 to watch it. I have to join the millions of Filipinos who will be fighting their way in and out of the capital for the Christmas season. It will be such a frenzy again.This is the time when you wish there are less people in this country. The most that you can get is an air-conditioned bus. Don't expect anything when it comes to ticket reservations coz you have to do it like everybody else, stay in queue for hours.I hope they introduce online ticket sales or reservations soon.

With me is a bunch of stuffs I bought in Divisoria last week. It has been a habit to go there to buy gifts for my cousins since buying everything in the mall could surely leave me bankrupt for the rest of the year. Here are some of the good finds.....

Surely saved me a lot but seeing my baggage makes me stressed. I'm imagining myself pulling this big bag in crowded places as early as now. sigh. I just remind myself of the smiles that these small objects could bring to the people I love come Christmas time. And though I sometimes wish for a role reversal, I have to remind myself that this is my way of giving back for all the blessing I had this year.

And as the quote in the tissue paper I bought in a restroom in Tutuban mall goes, BLESSED IS THE SEASON WHICH ENGAGES EVERYONE IN A CONSPIRACY OF LOVE........

    Divisoria is really the perfect place for shopping. Pero dapat matsaga kang maglakad and pasensyoso sa traffic hindi lang ng sasakyan pati ng tao.
