We were back in Manila Ocean Park last month to watch the musical fountain show. My wife missed it last time so when I heard that they were offering promo tickets I immediately registered our mobile phone numbers. It was easy, simply by registering in their website, you immediately get a text confirmation that you will show in the ticket booth upon your visit. The show is regularly priced 300 php but due to the promo it was made 50php. Not bad at all.
Here's the catch though, due to the strong public response, we had to stay in line longer. It was chaotic because of people flocking from all direction. After getting our tickets, we again had to queue for the next show so as to have a good seat. Everybody's assured of a seat of coarse but since I wanted to have a better angle than the 1st time, we had to bear with the crowd . We were successful. Here are the photos.
Some observations on my 2nd visit.
It was fun. The presentation was not just about lights (laser), mascots enter the scene every now and then following a storyline. This time it was about saving the sea. This comes with nursery rhyme type chants. The lights are more colorful and its really fitting for kids of all ages. Even adults would surely enjoy this.
The verdict: It's good for kids or for families and for adults alike.
Then again, a 20 minute water show for 50 pesos was in itself a good deal. They occasionally have promos so be sure to check Manila Ocean Parks website every now and then.
