PEBA: Pinoy Expats Blog Awards Night

Pinoy Expats Blog Awars or PEBA was created to recognize the growing popularity of blogging among Filipino expatriates and Overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs) in 2008. It has shown tremendous growth and support in the past few years both among expats, their families in the Philippines and local blog supporters.

I was privileged to be invited as one of the judges in their photo contest this year and I was there last night at Teatrino Promenade Greenhills to witness the awards night. I am happy to share to you some of the photos I snapped during the event.

I came early so I still got the chance to socialize with some of the bloggers, unlike during the Philippine blog awards when I came late and went home before the end of the event. The atmosphre last night was a bit different. People were in their elegant clothing, you see the tension in peoples faces as they are all excited to know this years winners but you can still feel the intimacy in the air.

It was a good night. Twas fun chatting to my blogger friends again, John, Marvin and even Nica of Thunderbird Resort was there. Miss you nica, and oh, I saw Avery of Geiser-Maclang too. D:

Congratulations to PEBA organizing committee for the successful awards night. To Yanah and Arvin who I know were sleepless for 2 nights, my admiration to you guys. To the admin, good job.
We hope for a better and bigger PEBA for 2011.
