Last february 18,Thunderbird Resort Rizal fromally launched The EVENT CENTER. It's the first state-of-the-art, 500-seat-capacity EVENT CENTER in Rizal, a destination perfect for transforming the dull into the dramatic. And it is in this place where 200 or more bloggers will be having the BLOGGER's FEST on April 16, 2011!!!!

During the launch, the ribbon-cutting  was led by Rizal Governor Jun Ynares, together with Thunderbird Resorts executives namely Raul Sueiro, VP for Asian & European Operations; Angel Sueiro, VP for Design; and Fabio Moretti, Country Manager, as well as Former Finance Secretary Roberto "Bobby" De Ocampo. Beauty Queens of Miss Earth Philippines also graced the ribbon-cutting.

ABS-CBN young star Nikki Gil was the host of the night, while World Singing Champion Jed Madela belted out tunes from his hits and classics. Homegrown talents of Rizal, the Angono Youth Musical Ensemble provided the accompaniments for the performances.

Distinguished personalities were also present during the launch: Sonny Dominguez, former Secretary of Agriculture and Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources; Palawan Governor Abraham "Baham" Mitra.

Top bloggers from Manila also attended and had a rare glimpse of the EVENT CENTER. Soon, these bloggers will join force with 200 or so bloggers for the BLOGGERS FEST----originally perceived as the LUZON BLOGGERS SUMMIT.

My photography group, the YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS CLUB PHILIPPINES will be collaborating in this event and will be working with the organizers to come up with a Fashion and Lifestyle PHOTOSHOOT CONTEST for bloggers of which 1 pair will be chosen and will be getting exciting prices from Thunderbird Resort. Watch out for the formal announcement of this contest.

This will be a summer event every bloggers especially in Luzon will be looking forward to. All bloggers are invited to join.
