The Philippine Blogging Community is as vibrant as ever, and the 7th iBlog Summit is one proof of that. Yesterday wraps up 2 days of successful exchange of ideas in the largest blogging summit in the country. I am glad I was able to attend the second day at Malcolm Theater UP Diliman. To be honest, this is my first iBLOG summit ever.I am a late bloomer, despite blogging for almost 3 years, I decided to go out of my shell just last year. A few months on, and more than a hundred blogger met to date, summits like the iBLOG serves like a formal passage to a blogger. At least for me.
The first day targeted businesses and entrepreneurs wanting to understand how to tap blogs as a medium to promote their products and services while the second day saw interesting topics for everyone interested about blogging.

I came during the afternoon session of the second day, in time for lunch.kidding. I thought I will be seeing familiar faces which I did but i realized that there are so many bloggers out there who I don't know. This makes me excited. The diversity among bloggers is amazing. This is prevalent in the questions raised after each talk as the bloggers were allowed to ask relevant questions.
And just when I though I know a lot, the speakers presented many ideas that are really helpful, many of which proved that I still have to learn many thing in blogging. So if you are like me, you can never say you know it all. Attending bloggers Summits such as the iBLOG will definitely help you, either on the technical, social, psychological aspect of blogging or something else. After all, there's more to blogging than just blogging.
with Ms janette Torral and the hosts of iBLOG7
