KWC PHILIPPINES : karaoke your way to Ireland

Do you know what KWC stands for? It literally mean KARAOKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. Yes there is such thing and it has been since 2003 that an annual worldwide contest of this nature is being held. Sad part is, not once that we had a entry from the Philippines. That is about to change.


Thanks to KWC Philippines, the search for the 2011 Male and Female Filipino Karaoke Champions who will Compete in the September 8-10 Karaoke World Championships in Killarky Ireland is on!!!!

KWC has gone a long way since the first competition was held in Heinola, Finland, in 2003

My attention was with the KWC team last Saturday when me and a group of bloggers were invited for the bloggers videoke event and media launch. I agree that there's so much talent in this country and missing on the competition is something we can't afford this year.

Of coarse the bloggers who attended the got the chance to sing karaoke. I missed doing this. I can't remember the last time I actually went to a karaoke room. Haven't practiced for a long time so I was off notes when I tried. But it was really fun. KWC Phils also staged a videoke contest for the bloggers who attended.

The Philippine Trials is organized by KWC Phils. Inc. and is co-presented by WOW Videoke and Talk n Text.
