WARNING: Photo Heavy Post
What to expect, 2011 has been a very good year for me, both in life and blogging.I have a lot to be thankful for and i can't digest all of it in one post entry so I start with my travels first. Last year was a mix of personal, group, local, international and sponsored travels. Despite the transformation in my blog from personal to photoblog to travel to lifestyle which created so much confusion even to myself as to what kind of blog this pusangkalye.net is, it feels good that when I survey my loyal readers about what they think of my site, they still say they remember it well for my TRAVELS.
Maybe they see the gusto and love i put in all my travel entries. This is one thing I love doing and it shows in the photos I take. Here, I summarize my best travels for 2011. Enjoy!!!!!
1. MACAU
MOST MEMORABLE:Camping in Nagsasa Cove with 2 bloggers from Cebu, Doi and Ed. That after climbing the hills of Anawangin and endless jumshots in both coves and the island of Capones.

MOST MEMORABLE: The 4x4 ride with all the dust and the I AM WHATEVER IT TAKES moment with my nikon dslr camera, the 1.5hours hike to the summit which I hardly noticed because of the awesome view along the way and the BOATING and SWIMMING at the CRATER. The scene there is awesome. Parang nasa LORD OF THE RINGS movie lang ang pakiramdam.
Also, hiking with 11 other people, most of whom we met for the 1st time.:) Daming most memorable.hahaha

6. VIGAN
9.BORACAY- my favorite most touristy place in the Philippines.
MOST MEMORABLE: Pahirapan maghanap ng makakainan past 10:30pm. The city is dead past 10pm. Plus, spent a lot of money on tricycle fare back and forth the highway and the terminal of PARTAS Bus Liner as there are no trip from VIGAN to MANILA past 8pm on a Sunday night when tourists are understood to be rushing back to Manila. You have to rely on buses from LAOAG, another tourist destination, to catch a ride.I gave up after a few hours of waiting in vain, boarded the bus back to LAOAG and take the Manila trip from there. What a pain.
PS: That doesn't mean I don't find VIGAN beautiful ha. VIGAN is VIGAN, it remains a jewel of Ilocandia.

Yeah, 2011 has been an ubusan-ng-kayaman year for us in terms of travel. Mos of the travels we had were our own expenses but the mix of sponsored travels added spice to it. I am looking forward to a year of more travels this 2012 although I feel that we have to slowdown a bit due to other priorities. 2012 should be a year of investment instead. I forgot to include here our sidetrip to PAETE LAGUNA and I haven't posted any of our trip yet in BAGUIO CITY in the last quarter of 2011. Look for my posts about it early this month.
To all the readers of this blog. Hope you find some information in my entries helpful for your travels this year. I say, go, invest in travel. Best of all, explore the Philippines. there's no place like it on earth.....and to note,I have seen less than 10% of it yet........
