disappointed with WENSHA SPA Macapagal Ave.Pasay

I consider January as "Recovery Month".For whatever was exhausted during the last quarter of 2012 especially the days leading to Christmas and New Year,January is the time to recover it all.That includes money if you feel stripped of it.In our case----energy.Stressed,me,my wife and three other friends gathered at Wensha Spa Macapagal Ave. where we usually go.Busy people gather in strange places.This was also the perfect time for us to meet our friend Gema who just came from Australia a few weeks prior to that.

As I said, we frequent Wensha Macapagal Ave. Pasay.I even wrote about it once including Wensha Antipolo.WENSHA SPA is my standard for good and clean massage.
Me and my wife are fans and that tricked down to our friends Mitch,Mek and Gema.

Or maybe we were?Coz on that first Saturday of 2013,Wensha Pasay disappointed us.

We came at the usual hour----11pm.and stayed until 7am.Having Mitch around means no dull moments for us.Everything seems light and bubbly when you are with her.So we were not really looking for any faults.We were here to relax and for the girls to do endless chatting.But one disappointment after another came.

 

The Dry Sauna ang Smoke Sauna in the men's area were alternately either too hot or just warm.By 2pm,they were both closed.The hot pool has the temperature of that of an outdoor swimming after being exposed to the sun the whole day.Not warm enough.The massage next,the masseur assigned to me was okay but it was more of a "let's-get-this-over kind of massage".When we met in the morning after everybody has had their massage and few hours of sleep,my wife was complaining about her masseur.She said she couldn't feel the pressure and despite reminding her several times to increase the pressure,nothing changed.

And then the morning food.The only thing available that day was shabu-shabu.our friend Mitch got tons of condiments thinking that all five of us would help each other finish it.No leftover remember?But we didn't finish it.The reason,the soup has no taste at all.Mitch attempted to add lots of soy sauce to it but the taste just worsened.Mitch also noticed that the staff were a bit rough that day.Everything seems to be not in sync.Small inconvenience like these would have been forgiven but I am ranting now since 3 out of 5 of us were unsatisfied.Off to Wensha to relax --fail! We ended up having headache.

Buti nalang me naganap na small exchange gift that morning.The smiles were all back on the faces of the girls.

 

Sure, it's not always a perfect experience every time we visit Wensha but this particular incident made us think of looking for another place to hangout whenever we feel like having a good massage and sauna.

We were really disappointed with Wensha Macapagal.With all the competition around,they should stpe up the game.Been here for years and I notice it going from good to bad.

Time to discover new places......
