Eastwood Richmonde Hotel may not be as popular as other hotels in Metro Manila, but that's exactly the reason why I loved it.Less crowded means more peaceful and laidback----the feeling that you hardly get once in the Metro despite effort to isolate yourself from the tiring fast-paced life.
I came to appreciate this more coz were just got back from our 3-country swing of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for 7 days which meant we had to constantly push ourselves to be able to explore more of the areas we covered. No time to waste. It was physically exhausting and all we wanted was to slowdown and reward ourselves with a relaxing staycation.
That didn't stop my wife fron checking the nearby mall though. The hotel is accessible via the 2nd floor of Eastwood mall so going for a little shopping is no hassle at all.
We went back to our room again to have a hot bath. Then I remember that the Lounge was having a Pastry Sale where all cakes, breads, pastries and sandwiches are up to 40% Off from 6-7pm so we had to go down before 7 to avail of it. Had large plain ensaymada, chocolate campfire and blueberry cheesecake for only 249 pesos.yum!
We decided to go around Eastwood City Walk to check the vibe. There was an ongoing concert that time and the pubs were full of people.Buhay na buhay ang Eastwood sa gabi.
We were not in the mood to blend with the crowd that night so we went back to the hotel.Fortunately, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel has The Gellery where we were able to enjoy fine drinks less the crowd. For knly 799, you can avail of Happy Hour with bar chow. This is from 6pm-9pm.What happens basically is that you can choose from a list of mixes or beers and drink all you can.The bar chow offers a variety of side dishes that goes well with the drinks.
BREAKFAST AT EASTWOOD CAFE
We were still in for a lot of good stuff the next day starting with a hearty breakfast at Eastwood Cafe.Breakfast for two comes with the room accommodation and I was glad to see the food spread was diverse.Remember I wrote about their lunch buffet a few months ago

The newest addition to the Richmonde Hotel brand comes to the ever exciting community of Eastwood City in Quezon City, completing this township’s mix of establishments and answering the lodging needs of business and leisure travelers in Manila.
OUR ROOM
We stayed in a superior room at the 30th floor. Hotel rooms are located at 29th-38th floor since the building is shared with condominium units on lower floor.
The room is rather similar to the typical hotel rooms you can find in the Metro. Aesthetically therefore, it lacks details to stand out from other hotels. But I am glad they put importance on what matters most, convenience and comfort. The bed is really soft and the pillows/bed sheets fresh and clean. My wife and I had an uninterrupted sleep of 9 hours. To have nine hours of sound sleep is a luxury these days.
An overnight stay in a good hotel is always too short. We would usually check on the amenities on the first day so that we don't have to wake up early the next day. We modified our approach this time.We decided to check out late the next day so that we can just spend the night chillin.

GREAT LOCATION
This one of the hotel's best advantage.Eastwood is a work, eat, play community which means all you need is here.It is where business, shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment establishments are literally next door.

Weekend Family Buffet at EASTWOOD CAFE --- delectable, affordable!
39th Floor AMENETIES
This is where the fitness center, the pool and the sauna are located. All these amenities are free for all in-house guests.Sounds great right? That's why I call the 39th floor, the "Happiness Floor".
THE POOL
For those who are in for a dip, there is an outdoor pool at the 39th floor. It's relatively small but it is good enough for a fun time with family and friends. Not so much of a view as security of guests is the utmost priority. They had to block the Makati side of the poolside with a metal fence.I love city views so I thought it would have been better if they place a fiber glass wall instead of the metal bars.It would add another dimension to the pool scene sana.
If you are eager to see the skyline of Metro Manila, I suggest you go to the gym.

THE GYM
It is rare for me to get excited of a hotel stay because I look forward to working out in the gym but I sincerely felt that way prior to our stay at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel (ERH).Perhaps because I haven't been to the gym for almost a month.I was very glad ERH has a fitness center at the 39th floor. My wife and I tried to burn as much calories as we could before hitting the Sauna.
THE SAUNA
The sauna is where we stayed for another hour. There separate saunas for male and female.A perfect way to cool down before checkout.
the sauna at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel
Our staycation ag Eastwood Richmonde Hotel was interesting because it was more than I imagined it to be.The experience was again unique from the other hotel staycation we experienced. Thanks for the well kept hotel and the quality service they provide. The location is also very integral because no matter matter what your mood and needs may be, there is something in Eastwood for you.One of the most memorable experience for us was hanging out at The Gallery.I love the cozy setting and the fact that it's not as crowded as other bars in the area meant we were able to chat a lot while enjoying our drinks and the happy beat of pub music. The gym-sauna experience was also amazing.
Eastwood Richmonde Hotel beat my expectations!
