If you have a whole day to spare for a tour of Georgetown Penang, one convenient and practical way of doing it is by renting a bike. I thought about this when we were at Goddess of Mercy Temple. I felt envious of the couples and groups passing around on bikes. In our case, we rented a trishaw as we were already in a hurry that time, but thinking about it, a trishaw is way slower and it doesn't give you so much flexibility as you have to continuously negotiate with your driver as to where to go.
