Grand Indonesia Shopping Town is a mixed-use complex including a shopping mall and the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski and Kempinski Residences covering an area of about 640,000 m2 located on the Welcome Monument Roundabout in Jakarta Indonesia.
It was easily accessible in our case since we stayed at Hotel Indonesia and so we were here a couple of times for window shopping and yeah, food.

LITTLE YOKUZUNA at Food Louver Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall
Talked to a few locals including a reputable travel blogger based in Jakarta and all of them said that when it comes to finding good food in the Indonesian capital, it is better to be guided rather than randomly pick a restaurant because you might end up disappointed 90% of the time. Like in Manila Philippines, the good restaurants are usually located in posh spaces including shopping malls.
And Grand Indonesia shopping Town which is probably one of the largest shopping malls in Jakarta is home to a food court they call FOOD LOUVER.
The place is posh and it comes with good interiors. Wooden accent that is gentle on the eyes. It is where you can find some nice restaurants offering local and international dishes that are not too heavy on the pocket.
I know there are many Japanese restaurants in Manila, but tell that to those who've had an overload of gudeg, goreng and nasi and you will understand. Japanese food instantly became a comfort food. Thanks to nice display and reasonable price, my companions didn't have think twice.
Their set meals are quite reasonably priced. Udon Set B for example costs 39,091 Rupiah, while Yakitori Jyu is priced at 27,273 Rupiah and Chicken Katsu Ju is at 27,273 Rupiah.
If you ask about the food, not bad. You get what you pay for, that's what I can say. The ambiance at Food Louver surely helped though. It really is a nice place for a hearty meal.
